Early morning stand off started at 4:40 am with Neander on the eggs.
Nova moves closer.
And closer.
And closer.
With one last lean in, she gives up and leaves Neander to incubating the 4 eggs at 5:08 am!
I remember Mariah and Kaver stand offs that landed much longer. lol
Thanks Ei for spotting a classic stand off!

Good morning eggs!






When can we expect our 1st hatch? Hard incubation usually starts after the 2nd to last egg laid. This would be 3/25. It takes approx 33-35 days. Today is day 27, so we shall hopefully see our 1st eyas hatch 4/27-29 in 6-8 days. It was colder this year, so they may have started incubation earlier. So we shall see.
