Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The Lady is a legend and has done her fair share. If this is it for her then so be it. even if this year is a failure doesn't mean its all over. Yes she's older, but the problem could be him (Beauty had some bad years. looking at her now the problem might of been Archer)

The 1st one had a 98 or something 8, this is an 11!! They don't care if it's banded, it's food. It might bother us!
I suspect we're seeing the other side of the band. There was a lot of meat left on the last one. This one is picked clean. no the feet were different not the same color this one is a darker orange first was a pale color leg size different too

On the positive side -- "We’re not sure when Stormin was displaced and though we will miss him, Malik comes from strong stock from one of Canada’s most prolific male peregrines, Windwhistler, who has over 100 offspring (that we know about) to his credit and is now a great, great grandfather."
Another Windwhistler offspring!
Brother to Tiago & Kendall Wow...hope we see Stormin' again... replaced by his Uncle anybody else hearing its a small world in their heads

quote from article: The whole incident is a terrible accident, said Augustine Ruiz, spokesman for the Postal Service.
"I can certainly understand why people are upset," he said. "The post office would never do anything to hurt wildlife. In fact, we issue stamps to protect birds. This is very unfortunate."
What a load of bull man this ticks me off. The only "accident" was they got caught, they knew the birds were there. That is why they were cutting the trees they said so. do they think we are stupid?

Here's a photo I took this past Sunday of the Seneca Towers pair frolicking on the winds over the river. Note the split wing feathers on the tiercel's right wing (top bird).
wouldn't it be cool if he was one of Mariah's produced after she left Rochester? It coulda happened

I think he should have checked his notes before speaking this time...or he was misquoted...Craig Koppie is truly an expert. Mariah & Kaver hatched & fledged 5 successfully 4 times...2003, 2004, 2005, 2008.
Wow! Thanks, Ei. Four times? Amazing! That's because Mariah & Kaver were amazing as a couple, (hope she still is)

They are great parents, but maybe it is time for Athena/Beatrice to rest and enjoy retirement.
I think the instinct is to raise and nurture young, this will give her a chance to do this again. I know Beauty was not happy the year hers did not hatch.
