I caught this picture of Beauty tonight on the main cam (7/2/12).  Her foot doesn't look so good.

Two of the three eyases at the Salt Lake City site have fledged this morning, the third is probably a day or two behind them based on the look of the baby feathers left.  I will miss watching their antics on camera!  Glad Beauty's eyeas is still growing up to watch for a while!

The eyeases in Salt Lake City are about 2 weeks away from fledging.  They are so fun to watch (live feed!)  At least one of them has discovered snatching the food from mom as soon as she tries to land and running off to the corner to defend and eat it!

Some good news all around today from the Canada Square management group. We have been told that a third hatchling was present on the nest ledge today!
Congratulations Canada Square!!

In addition to this good news, we have also worked out and confirmed a banding date for the hatchlings!

The banding date has been confirmed for Thursday May 24th!!

I was just perusing the family tree at rfalconcam, and I see the Kendall and Tiago are brothers!!  Not from the same clutch, born 4 or was it 5 years apart, but still, good parenting runs in the blood.

There are now two hatchlings, and someone got the second hatch on video.  This is a live streaming site, so look forward to lots of noisy hatchlings and feedings and such for the next six weeks!

That was a great photo of Stormin, and I am so happy to hear about how he has taken on this family and made them his own and is providing food, etc.  Way to go Stormin!!

This probably isn't going to happen, but wouldn't it be great if Harlie were able to be fitted with a satelite transmitter too?  Then we could watch a second generation satellite bird flying around!!  (I know, not all satellite birds have been as lucky as Quest. :-(  )  Still, it would be fun!

The babies are relaxing after stuffing themselves silly, and there is a BYF sticking out!   

The youngest is a week old today (the oldest is 4 days older, I think) and boy have they grown.  They are vocalizing for their food quite a bit now, and have moved down so that now you want to use camera 1 to see them.  http://wildlife.utah.gov/peregrine/

WOW!  Who would have ever dreamed even three months ago that we'd know eggs-actly where Quest was nesting and who her mate was, and now there is a baby Harlequin and a nest cam???? Thank you Donna Hayes and thank you Harlequin Enterprises for all you have done for "our" baby Quest and her family!

As of this morning, looks like the 4th egg has hatched.  yay!  And the weather is great!  Sunshine and warm temps.  Nice eyeas growing weather.
