We finally made it to March!  February, the coldest one on record here in Rochester, NY, is finally behind us!  Woohoo!   

According to that @&$# rodent in Pennsylvania, we can expect 2 more weeks of this winter.

I'm taking donations to start a hawk nest and hawk cam in Punxsutawney to take care of the fat little varmint once and for all. Anyone with me?

It was 22 degrees ABOVE Zero when I drove into work today around 6 am with a light snow falling.  They say it won't get much higher than that.  But, I'm not complaining.  +22 is much better than what we've had.  The roads are a little slick, but as long as you take it easy, it's all good.

Best nature around me?  We are blessed!  Ospreys, bald eagles, egrets, herons -- all of which I can see from my house.  Local birds are the usual plus some very vocal crows!  It's a beautiful place of nature and we love it.
