Amora at Harlequin. Yes, all have been seen Margaret. Amora's first flight! By Ann Did she eventually take off from there? Thank you Donna, and Ann for the great picture. I hope she took off from there; it is kind of low. I'll say it's low! That awning is just above the back door to Harlequin. I hope nobody messes with her if she is still there after the building shuts down for the day. Ya never know what kind of nutjobs are out there. That may be too low for her to take off from too so perhaps Mark or someone from CPF can take her to a higher place. She should hopefully be ok. We've had many M&K young come to ground during their first flights and then get themselves out of trouble. This includes her mom, Quest. On her first day of flying, she came to the ground in a parking lot on the north side of the Kodak Tower. After resting, she flew up to the roof of a very low building at the back of the parking lot. She would rest for a couple hours and then fly up to a higher roof. This continued throughout the day into the evening when she ended up on the roof of one of the BeeBee Station Bldgs, where she helped us find her sister who had been missing all day. This same thing happened with other fledglings who's first flights ended up taking them to the ground. As long as they are safe, it is best to stay back at a distance and keep an eye on the bird, making sure others stay away if possible. If she's not injured, she should be able to get herself to a higher spot after resting. I hope we hear from the Watchers that she's moved higher by tomorrow morning.

Thanks! I've been watching the nestbox. We should be getting near the time for those eggs to hatch. Fingers crossed!
Hello Vivian and welcome to the Rfalconcam forum. Congrats on your first of hopefully many posts.

!!! Fledglings found, one rescue, another fledge June 13, 2012 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre
Linda Woods Reports:
So at the end of the night , we have two juveniles on the same building, one unfledged on the nest, and Journey who has a second chance to try it again.
Many thanks to Intercon Security at 330 Bay St, FLAP for relaying the call, Bruce, Rosalind and Marion for a job well done. Photo to follow as soon as I figure out how to get it off the phone. Ah technology.

Just posted on CPF site :-(
I have faith they are fine & just not where Harry can see them. There are also new buildings around that probably complicate matters. Having just been to that neighborhood over the weekend I can understand not finding them. Remember Callidora being "lost" in plain sight on the jail? I do remember Callidora lost on the jail. And she was found. Rest in peace, Callidora. But fledging is a nervewracking time. I hope there is good news tomorrow. This is one of THE most difficult locations to track fledglings. The tall buildings around this area make it impossible to see them from the street below, until they come out to an edge or corner. Watch the parents, see if they are concerned. Look where they are looking. Watch for food drops. Hope they show themselves tomorrow morning.
