It’s been two years since we’ve seen Pittsburgh’s Downtown peregrine family on camera.

Happy news!  The downtown peregrines are so committed to the Gulf Tower site that the female roosted there last night.

The old falconcam still functions so I was able to pull snapshots.  This morning I gave it a look, and behold.  She’s back!

There are some wiring issues before the camera will be reliable but within the week the falconcam partners will restart video streaming and we’ll all be able to watch.  Kate St. John    clap

This morning I checked the Gulf Tower camera to make sure it was on daylight savings time and behold, Dori was at the nest with an egg!! No one is more surprised than me.  I could barely believe my eyes!

Just to be sure, I captured several snapshots including Louie’s first visit before dawn.  by Kate St. John
