A clear view of the 3 eggs. I almost thought 4-the one on the right seems to have a dark streak made it look like one behind the other. The 3rd one is just peeking up behind the front board.

Sheila giving them a nice roll!

Well, I sent them the pic and they've posted it with this note...

Monday September 7, 2009
It does appear that Sheila has laid four eggs.

Thank you to those who emailled in photos to help confirm this.  With Sheila increasing her time in the nest box,  there has been limited opportunity to view the number of eggs.

There are a few pics posted on the Cleveland board that look more like 4 eggs than mine, but that's OK...as long as they have healthy eyases!

FINALLY!  Sheila AND Havoc in one picture...looks like Havoc (note feather on beak) is reminding Sheila that it's HIS turn to sit on the eggs!

For Peregrine Falcons, the incubation period is 33 to 35 days from the date the last egg was laid.  So it is now approximately halfway with hatching expected to begin around October 4 - 6.  During incubation, the eggs are rarely left uncovered; rain, hail or shine.  hatch1 hatch1 hatch1 hatch1

Just saw this from Nora over on Yahoo...

One, possibly two hatches!  Go down closer to the bottom of the page.  If you click on a picture it enlarges.  Raptor Resource forum
