What happened to the other 3 babies?  Here is the translation from German:

Thursday 19 May 2011
A sad news ...

Next to all the great news about the young ones, there are unfortunately some who are not very encouraging.

You may certainly have noticed that remained of the five young storks in the nest on the roof the stork barn since Saturday, only two young are.

One of the parents was found one man discarded plastic rope and taken into the nest. The boys are totally tangled in it!

Since a submission by man-made problem, Christian Reis three animals freed from the cord. He arrived at two dead boy. A third sadly died a few hours after the rescue operation.

It always die young, unfortunately (even adult birds!) To trash. It is worth the  small pieces of junk (cords, rubber, ...) to clear away.

With the storks and our falcons, there is too much sadness today! At least the ROC Falcons can only blame Nature.

Oh how sad for them...(now we know)!  Sad  Ropes, fishing line, plastic bags are all killers to birds and other animals. 3 babies suffered from the hands of man. Good grief. Thanks Janet.
