Sandy has made it all the way down to the far end of the ledge.  Probably checking out the runway for pre-fledge practice runs!

Lots of hiding spots there. She was in the old camera housing on the other end the other day-could not see that a bird was there.

Fluffy Sandy is showing her wings!

 Very Quiet Morning
June 25, 2015 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre
Harry Crawford Reports:

Today is the first full day of the Sheraton watch.  By 8am, I had Tiago on the northeast corner of 130 Adelaide W, with Rhea-Mae on the northwest corner of the same building.  Sandy showed herself 10 minutes later on the nest ledge.  About 9am and again a half hour later, it looks like Rhea-Mae made a very small food drop near the nest box.  Sandy disappeared for 10 minutes each time.  Sandy spent a lot of time out of view, probably lying down.

Later in the morning, Sandy could be seen flapping but standing in the same position - not running and flapping.  This happened briefly twice.  Around 11am, Rhea-Mae made two quick trips from 130 Adelaide to the nest box area.  I’m not sure what this was about as it wasn’t a food drop.  Sandy appeared unconcerned.  When I got home at lunchtime, the webcam showed Sandy lying down just east of the big pipe.

One adult currently on the nest ledge, near the tray.  I have not seen Sandy II yet.  Fledged? or Hiding?

Soggy, wet weekend
June 28, 2015 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre

Linda Woods Reports:

Finally a break in the weather just as the sun is setting. Sandy is still unfledged, but she is showing more interest in leaving. No flight lessons from the adults today, but they are sitting in places where she can see them flying around and showing interest in joining them. Lots of flapping and screaming today, more than I have seen since the start of the watch.  Bed time food delivered by both Rhea Mae and Tiago around 8:30 this evening. Good, eat and go to sleep, Sandy.

As of yesterday....Nope

Just checked, I don't see her either...maybe she did fledge!!! (nail biting)

chick3  I've always said we need a "pacing" smilie.  I would so love to be there!  There is currently a falcon about 3/4 of the way out on the ledge.  Can't tell if it's adult or eyas.
