They go their separate ways, some north, some south. Once in a great while one comes back, but not to stay, this is Mariah’s territory. Sad to tell, but most wind up over the rainbow bridge.

I was wondering where the birds go when they leave the area, do they come back to this area, and do they stay together or go their separate ways?

Well. this is my sixth year following Mariah and her family and they never fail to dazzle. Thanks for the great update, Larry. It does indeed sound like the falcon Olympics up there!

I MOVED TO S.D. CALIF. IN 1977 MOVED BACK FOR THREE YRS. SINCE THENI HAVED MOVED BACK TO S.D. IN 5-07. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR ISSUES ON THESE BEAUTIFUL BIRDS. I have been watching the falcons for several years now, and I am so glad you guys have been reporting their progress. The girls sound like they are coming along fine. Thanks for all the good reporting.

I have been watching the Rochester falcons on falconcam for three or four years. This is the first year I have read these reports from the watchers. It is a great way to continue to be part of the wonder of these beautiful birds as they leave the nest. Thanks for sharing!
