It’s been a few days since our last update, but Quest didn’t give us any surprises. She has continued to spend her time in the Tom Nevers neighborhood, her home for the past few weeks. She ventured northeast east to Sankaty Head on the 9th but for the most part she seems content to stay within a relatively small area.

We can assume that the very frigid temperatures that descended on the United States last week kept her movements to a minimum. We’re happy to see that she weathered the arctic blast without undue difficulty. It’s yet another hopeful sign that Quest may go on to a long, fruitful life.

Well, I really had hoped to follow her to the Caribbean. Oh, well. Next year. … Larry O

    Thank you, Jess!
Quest looks mighty and already seems to know when time to stay in a safe place where she feels well and safe.
    Take care girl! 😀

  3. Melissa in MA Says:

It has been extremely cold here, especially
at night; good to know Quest has found a
place she feels safe at…..there must be
good shelter and good food there…YEAH!

  4. Alison in Austria Says:

Quest is making it hard to keep coming up with new good titles for the blog, isn’t she, Jess? 🙂
I am delighted that she has a place where there is sufficient food, not too many hazards, and even a set of friendly watchers who keep an eye out for her. So it is dull – in a bird’s life, dull is good.

  5. Maureen in MA Says:

Thank you, Jess! Yes, dull is good! As Jess said, definitely a hopeful sign that Quest may go on to a long, fruitful life. Positive thoughts abound! 🙂

  6. Paul Says:

Thanks for the update, Jess! It does seem that Quest has found the perfect place to spend the winter.

  7. Kathy G Says:

I just love the updates! I check all the time. I just realized that I won’t be able to see them at at Red Wings baseball games anymore. Can’t wait to know which site they will pick this year.

  8. Kathy V Says:

Oh I sure hope so. It appears she is a strong girl. Thank you for letting us know.
