Rochester Police are involved in a standoff on Dewey Avenue near a city elementary school. News10NBC is told there is a man inside a home with a gun. Right now, Dewey Avenue is closed between Selye Terrace and Kislingbury Street. Rochester Police say a standoff on Dewey Avenue, near School No. 7, is now over and the road has been reopened. Officers were called to Lake View Park around 9:15 a.m. Friday. News10NBC is told police knocked on a door, thinking they were tracking a possible suspect in a home invasion in Perinton Thursday night. At the time, investigators believed the resident was possibly armed. LOL jeanne! |
