After she was fully healed, the staff began slow introductions of mother-daughter to reunite them, hoping that Blaze accepted Pongo. They started by putting the baby on the other side of the cage door so Blaze could see her and listen to Pongo vocalize. Eventually, Blaze started showing interest and was touching Pongo, responded to her vocalizations which led to them having brief sessions together. They fully reunited after a few weeks of reintroduction and are fully bonded today. I wonder if the same thing happens with this mom and baby.
