Title: Help Save The Sussex Heights Falcon Nestbox Post by: Caitie on 29-Jan-10, 09:01:41 PM I saw this on Palemales site today. Lincoln had a link to this petition.
I think we all can relate to having an established nest box removed :crying: so I hope everyone signs and it does some good. :pfalcon: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/PeregrineFalcons/ (http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/PeregrineFalcons/) Title: Re: Help Save The Sussex Heights Falcon Nestbox Post by: Donna on 29-Jan-10, 10:55:10 PM I saw this on Palemales site today. The peregrines will still have their nest this year.
From the resident of Sussex Heights who originally raised the alarm: Great news! After a lot of TV and press coverage the board have agreed that the birds can stay for at least the upcoming season. It gives us time to figure a way of doing the building work around the birds. It is all about health and safety they reckon. So the Brighton camera should be up and running for 2010. Thank you everyone who signed our petition and gave us your expert views.
