Fabian, the father, went missing March 31. Another male began visiting, in what Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife officials are describing as a "territorial dispute." Who knows where Diana is tonight, but she has to eat sometime. I wonder whether she has stopped trying to keep those last three eggs warm, perhaps knowing the life inside them has slipped away.

Oh, how very sad!   :'( I just looked at the cam and the three remaining eggs are scattered, and none of them is in the scrape.
