I checked through the Rochester, NY band records. NY has been banding black/green VID on the left leg for several years with silver USFWS band on the right. The past few years we've had males in the 20s/BA series and females in the 90s/BA series. So I suspect it's a NY bird but likely from a different DEC region. Something is tickling the back of my brain that I saw a video of a NYC bridge banding this year with a band number in the 70s/??, but I could well be WAY off on that. We shall see... Title: Re: Help to ID Pefa Banded 77/BA Blk/Grn Bands Post by: carly on 15-Aug-14, 07:44:36 PM No it's tickling my brain too, I know this band number from somewhere. By 'know', I mean I saw it or one close to it either in video or a photo somewhere.

Title: Re: Help to ID Pefa Banded 77/BA Blk/Grn Bands Post by: patsy6 on 15-Aug-14, 08:49:32 PM I'm thinking the reason why we think we've seen this band before is that in our minds we're combining Billy's 77/AX black/green band with our many BA black/green bands.

I never know the band numbers of the Riverside Church birds. I do have pictures of the fledglings from this year. Was this bird spotted at the Meadowlands DeKorte? They have had quite a few young peregrines there lately.
