Title: Peregrines and Red Knots in Conflict Post by: Paul Hamilton on 19-Feb-10, 07:53:37 PM Recent research shows that the population of Red Knots is reduced within 6 km of peregrine nest sites. Virginia's Center for Conservation Biology has removed several of their nesting towers in critical Red Knot areas.
