Race was rained out, so we spent the afternoon checking all of the local osprey nests. All but 2 have someone at home and one of the vacant nests is a very late arrival.

We think that one osprey has fledged at the Rt 4/Pax River Bridge at Wayson's (at least 2 or 3 in that nest), lots of branching at Tracy's Creek - maybe 1 fledge. Guess the Florida chicks plan to winter in their nest ;)
