Title: Crows recognize faces
Post by: dale on 19-Jun-15, 01:20:04 PM
I posted about 5 years ago on this, a new NPR article just appeared along with a great little video explaining the research.

Good thing falcons don't do this; it'd be nasty out on the street right now.

Thanks, Dale. I had heard this, but that video really nailed it.  That's amazing what the crows did when the mask was turned upside down.  We've got a large roost of them in Rochester, and I've warned people not to mess to crows.  They've got our number.
