It's that time again!  Time to collect pictures for the 2016 Rfalconcam Calendar.

The Rfalconcam Main Cam has captured many wonderful pictures of the 2015 Rochester Falcon Family!

I know you all saved your favorites, so it's time to share.  The Rfalconcam Merchandise Team needs your help.

Choose up to 5 pictures captured by the Rfalconcam Main Camera only.  The rules are the same as last year.  It must be the whole picture, including the banners.  No cropped or altered pictures please.  We want to show off our outstanding Main Cam pics!

Please send them to me at libbymybird @ yahoo. com (no spaces), with "2016 Rfalconcam Main Cam Calendar Pics" as the subject line.  Also, include a quick description for each picture.  Submissions will be accepted until end of day Sunday, September 27, 2015.

For this calendar, we are looking for the following from those of you who would like to help out.

1 - Main Camera Pics Only
2 - No Cropped or altered Pictures Please!
3 - Pictures From 2015 Only

These can be pictures of Beauty, Dot.ca, Cadence, Genesee, & Bronx.  Any of our falcons that showed up at the nest box in 2015.  We would like to include all of them in this calendar.

We will choose twelve of the submitted pictures for the 2016 Rfalconcam Main Cam Pictures Calendar.

Last year we received pictures from many Rfalconcam fans.  We can sure use your help again this year!

Archives are gone :(

If you know which pictures you want, I can retrieve them.

Yes, the archives and "2015 Pictures from the Rfalconcam Cameras" only go back to July 15, which is just a little over two months ago.  Are the stills disappearing faster than in recent years? 

Glad I saved all mine for the season on my computer!   :phew:

I saved some, but very few (if any) of the type needed for the calendar. 

I'm a "Cropper", all my saved pics are just that..... CROPPED!   :wub:

I'm grateful for your cropping, Donna.  In fact, I use a cropped picture of Dot.ca and a 2015 eyas as my profile picture now, and I think it may be one of your crops.   

Okay, I managed to find several main cam photos that I just sent to Carol.  Keep them coming, people! 

I found 3 that I didn't crop and sent them  :happy:

They stay online for 72 days, same as last year.

Before last year, wasn't it longer than that?  It seems like it was longer when I first signed onto the forum in 2012. 

It was 90 days back then.

Keep the pictures coming falcon fans! So many to choose from this year.   :clap:

Let's extend the deadline to September 30th.

I like Donna crop most of my pics but i have a few w/ borders -Just got mine in on time  :happy:

I crop some too, but I always keep the original. Hence the need for yet another external drive...

For those who can't use an external drive, there are many cloud storage services available for storing photos. Besides the usual photo places like flickr, shuttterfly, google photos, etc., there are generic file storage places like dropbox, box, bitcasa, etc. All have a free storage limit, but it's fairly large, and you can always add more free storage by simply joining another service. (I doubt you'd need to join more than one to store all your favorite Rfalconcam pictures.)

You haven't seen my stash ;)

I have used dropbox, but my internet connection is so slow it takes forever to upload.

All my "Cropped" pics are on a memory stick that holds mega amounts of pics and videos! But yeah, they are just that Cropped!! I'll learn next year to save the origs!!  :paperbag:
