"Made from more than 40,000 compostable balloons, the $125,000 installation will include a hot air balloon overlooking a cascading waterfall, a flock of Canadian flying geese, turtles, deer, fish, trees, rocks, insects, and grass made from thousands of balloon dogs."

Canadian flying geese? Well, that's a new one.

Sadly, no falcon that I could see, at least.  It would have been nice to see either Billie or Seth depicted in balloons, since it was sponsored by the Seneca Park Zoo and it was river-centered.  Ah well!

This weekend they're holding a "popping" party to disassemble the exhibit.  I can't image the noise!

This balloon adventure was a wonderful thing and I wish I could have seen it for myself. Thanks to all who posted photos, and congratulations to Rochester for sponsoring such an amazing project. :flowers:

Brian H visited the display and asked why there was no falcon. He was told that there was one but it lost the wind beneath it's wings aka it deflated. lol  Poor baloon falcon.  :(
