The eaglet in the nest at Guntersville Dam has died. The eaglet hasn't been seen since the early evening hours of Sunday February 28. Speculation among avid eagle watchers, photographers who regularly visit the nest and wildlife experts center around something falling from the nest Sunday afternoon and a photo, taken by Jeff Schreier, showing a raccoon standing on the nest around 8 a.m. Tuesday March 1. :( Title: Re: Eaglet dies at Guntersville Dam Bald Eagle nest Post by: Carol P. on 04-Mar-16, 01:27:28 PM That's so sad. :(
