Title: Popular climbing area along Susquehanna closed to make way for nesting falcons
Post by: Donna on 05-Mar-16, 06:24:25 AM
A popular climbing wall along the Susquehanna River has been closed because a pair of state-endangered peregrine falcons is nesting on a ledge

It appears the falcons commandeered a stick nest under construction from ravens as the falcons have been continually chasing away the ravens from the cliff shelf.
