Title: Evanston, Illinois Peregrines Post by: AlisonL on 27-Feb-17, 05:23:27 PM The cam is active again, and this afternoon there were two peregrines at the nest. Can't tell from this view, but I hope that they are the long-time resident pair, Nona and Squawker.

Title: Re: Evanston, Illinois Peregrines Post by: AlisonL on 08-Mar-17, 10:27:45 AM It seems that Nona may be gone. Squawker has been seen with a very young female still in her juvie plumage, and Nona has not been seen. :(
Now Squawker is still apparently being observed, but the immature female is not being seen. For the last few days, I have not seen anyone at the nest. I am still holding out hope that Nona is out there and may return. Title: Re: Evanston, Illinois Peregrines Post by: Donna on 08-Mar-17, 10:52:58 AM :o Nooooo! I hate these switches!!
