Title: Sint-Niklaas, Belgium Peregrines

In 2014, a pair of peregrines arrived in the city of Sint-Niklaas, and took up residence in the city center on the tower of the Church of Our Lady. Two eggs were laid, but did not hatch. It was felt that the nest site was directly in the sun and the temperature was too high. For 2015, a nest box was installed for the birds, and they raised three chicks.

Last year, they also raised three chicks at this nest.

Yesterday, the female laid her first egg of 2017:
