Whatever they symbolize, the Wings of Progress have long been a recognizable and definitive piece of the Rochester skyline. In recent years, a peregrine falcon nest site has been just beneath the wings of the building’s roof. Just last year, the wings were illuminated again, as they were when the building first opened.
