Title: Topeka, Kansas Peregrines Post by: AlisonL on 01-Apr-17, 01:39:26 PM First egg for Topeka!
The birds at this nest are Boreas and his mate Nemaha, who are both offspring of 19/K and Alley at the Lincoln, Nebraska nest. I first saw Boreas at the nest on March 28 this year, and Nemaha on March 30. Neither bird was at the nest this morning, but a little while ago Nemaha was in the nest and remained there. A few minutes ago, I had the privilege of seeing her lay her first egg! https://www.westarenergy.com/peregrine-falcons (https://www.westarenergy.com/peregrine-falcons) Title: Re: Topeka, Kansas Peregrines Post by: MAK on 01-Apr-17, 02:52:47 PM

I was also able to read her bands: black/red 97/H. Title: Re: Topeka, Kansas Peregrines Post by: Carol P. on 01-Apr-17, 06:39:07 PM She's gorgeous Alison!
