I've visited this nest site several times in the past while seeing the San Francisco branch of my family, so it has always been special to me.

A splendid photo-story! With each image, esp of the parents, being more spectacular than the next, I love the very first one of the eyases with that "Ahhhh, Jeeeeez!" look on their faces. Glen Stewart of the Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group did the banding. He had a busy day. He had first banded the San Jose eyases. He reached that site by rappelling down from the roof of that building. This one was easier to reach! Both peregrine families are much beloved by Bay Area residents and have been featured in all the local media. We are so lucky!
