I found the report at Birdchick (http://www.birdchick.com/wp/2010/05/great-another-invasive-pest-to-worry-about/).  Truly horrifying!

I have one elderly one, but he must be well past reproductive age, as I haven't seen any more.  I do have a garden mirror, perhaps that's served as a deterrent  :happy:

OMG!!!  :o My father-in-laws Girlfriend has them in her HOUSE...and she's from England.  :scaredblue: I was actually holding one! (shudder). I'm so freaked out!

I have them all over the place - wish they would deter the moles that are snapping my plants off at the surface - garlic isn't working.

I have two that immigrated from Germany -- I keep them confined to the house and out of the garden.

The video doesn’t even mention that they have been observed trying to copulate with male American Robins in breeding plumage. Fortunately the Robin will have none of it.
