what do you mean, "at first glance"?  It's a killer whale.
She came out of there too, and flew around. I saw her mate, too.  No question about it.
In fact every nest box on that whole prairie had a little orca sitting in it.

She came out of there too, and flew around. I saw her mate, too.  No question about it.
In fact every nest box on that whole prairie had a little orca sitting in it.

I'm talking about glancing at the word orca. :harhar:

yeah, isn't it amazing that these strapping fellows can survive on a diet of flies and mosquitoes, which are mostly plastic?

The barn swallows returned to the Chicago lakefront, and every night one particular barn swallow  can be found sleeping in his (or his ancestors') traditional spot. I try not to disturb his sleep, although I can watch him at close range.
Soon there will be swallow fledglings, which bring new life to the old expression "loose cannon."
