Fascinating!  I still can't tell the difference between a raven and a crow, sorry to say :'(

The BBC has done some wonderful documentaries on the Raven and how intelligent they are.  Corvids are a smart family of birds, but unfortunately they are often misunderstood. 

I'll have to check out the article.
