Today, the state Department of Environmental Conservation placed ID bands on the month old chicks. The bands will help the DEC track them. They were also given names – Callidora and Jemison. I still can't get over how SMALL the box is and I know it isn't very big, but a small nest box + 2 men = a very small nest box. Amazing! Thanks to all again.

I expected more out of those two, but being there first time I suspect next year they will be more fierce. I did enjoy all the flying and kakking especially how they would hover in midair without moving. :gum: oink
