Title: Leucistic Pileated WP, Houston TX
Post by: DebInTexas on 27-Jun-10, 10:59:57 PM
Had to share these links to four photos of a leucistic female Pileated Woodpecker, taken by Greg Page.  She was accompanied by a male and another female (both 'normal' plummage).  Probably a once-in-a-lifetime spotting!  Beautiful bird.

These 2 photos show the white body real good.

These 2 photos show the bird in flight. The wings are all white.
