Title: Thumbnails are back
Post by: Shaky on 09-Aug-10, 12:37:55 PM
After a long absence, thumbnails of archived pictures are available again. These thumbnails have the time printed in the upper left corner to make it even easier to determine when pictures were taken by the Rfalconcam cameras.

These are automatically generated when you use the Share and Movie features in the Archive Viewer (http://rfalconcam.com/rfc-main/archiveViewer.php).

As an added bonus, the times also appear in the thumbnails on the View All Cameras (http://rfalconcam.com/rfc-main/cameras.php) page. This lets you know instantly if one of the cameras is not updating every minute like it is supposed to. For example, Camera 4's thumbnail currently shows 08:10. That's because the camera stopped transmitting images at 08:10 on July 7th. (Yes, we'll eventually go to the Powers Building to fix it.)
