- White Stork - This year I didn't visit the White Stork nests, but a few weeks ago I was in the neighborhood of a nest and I looked around if I saw some Storks in the meadows, but nothing. But at the traffic light where I had to stop, yes I saw one sitting on the lightpole. As quick as possible I took my camera out my bag and took a few pictures. Than the light was green and I had to drive on. What a great puzzle! I've loved storks ever since, when I was 7 or 8, I read a Dutch book (in English) called, "The Stork on the School House"!! It seemed like a wondrous bird -- like nothing I'd ever seen! And, as an adult, I realize that they are, indeed, wondrous -- and still haven't seen one... Maybe I'll be over to visit you some day and I will!! ;) my time: 3:26 (but I didn't have a cat draped on my keyboard!! Ha!) Thanks, again -- I've really missed your jigsaw puzzles!! Great picture. Yes, the White Stork is much better than a Redtail Hawk as is often the case here (was it NoraH that pointed that out?)
