Yes, there is a limit, but it's fairly high.

No, we cannot have a separate window for holiday smileys.

Do you or will you have the ability (as administrator) to run a report and determine the smileys that are used and then delete those that arent?  I'd guess this would be maybe in six months or so???

If there's still room, here are 4 more possible holiday smileys - 2 Christmas, 1 Halloween, and 1 Happy New Year or birthday.

Donna, I found the first falcon on an Italian falconry website. It was a corner decoration on the home page.  The second one was on a tee-shirt sports printing site. There are apparently lots of sports teams with falcons as the mascot. He looks a little like the falcon in the logo at the top right of this site..

You requested a bat, but the available bat clip art and animations are truly awful and disgusting. Most have teeth dripping with blood, etc. I do have one bat with a toothy smile that I like. It's way too big for Shaky to add to the smiley set but if you like it, you can right-click on the picture and download it to your computer into whatever file you use for saved graphics. That way you can use it in emails to your friends, etc.

Mirta, 0ops! The bat is supposed to fly and I have no idea why it posted as a still image. So left-click the bat to start him flying, and then right-click to download to your computer.

I did try the bat as a smaller still image but all the details were lost. I have an animated gifs editor but so far I haven't been able to do much with it. :P Should I live long enough, maybe I'll learn how to use the blasted thing so I can make my many large animations smaller.  :D

Very Good Donna!  :clap: Funny you should find a Mustang - that is anticipated to be the Ford used in the Nationwide Series (the Saturday races) next year.  It might be available for viewing as early as the Richmond Race (I'm not too jazzed about this). :yahoo:  I have been whining for a Jack Rousch Mustang for a few years, and now that Rich has all new company trucks and vans, I'm making some noise.  Check out the horsepower!  Rich is just going to get the tickets and a payment book for them pre-printed for me! :laugh:

Mirta, most of the lovely bats from your website are either too large, move across the page too much, or have a colored background.  Here's three of them that are probably the right size.  Shaky probably won't have room for 3 bats, so maybe the rest of you can help pick a favorite.

I also have some smileys I want included - so how do I post them here so you can see them?  Here are the descriptions:

1.  "DOH" - smiley smacking forhead
2.  "Sign 0173" - cool/sunglasses smiley with thumbs up, holding sign saying 'Good job'
3.  "oops" - smiley with red blushing cheeks holding sign 'Oops!'
4.  "Confused" - smiley tapping chin with finger
5.  "uhm" - smiley blinking eyes with hand on head and question mark over head.
6.  "cold" - shivering smiley (only eyes showing) with a winter hat and scarf

You should be able to either post the links to the smileys or download them to your computer and attach them to a post.

I tried that, but they are smileys that are on another forum.  If I "copy shortcut", it doesn’t link to anything.  I saved the pictures, but there is no movement, and I don’t know where to find them on the web.

Attached is a doc file with the smiley pics I like.

OK...I've done a test or 2...I can get them to paste & function on the Yahoo board and see the code there-I'll work on this over the weekend...

OK Joyce...I figured out a not very elegant but functional way to find the source url's from other forums, so...which forum are these from?  I've seen them, just can't remember where (probably Buffalo, now that I typed that)

Here's how to get Joyce's smileys to post:

1. click on one of the smiley titles of your last post. The smiley is then visible.

2. right-click on the smiley. One of the choices that comes up is "save image as"

3. click on 'save image as" and download it to your own computer.

4. use "reply" on this forum and click on "additional Options" under the message box.

5. click inside the "Attach" blank space and then click on Browse. Find the saved smiley on your computer and double click on it. That should fill the Attach space with the link to that graphic. Then move on to the next smiley title.  You can't see them until you post, but each smiley should show up.  You can only do 4 attachments per post, though. 

I just did that for 4 of Joyce's smileys from the list you posted earlier but will leave the rest for you to post, since I am on my way out the door.

I've used these 2 occasionally-but not enough to MUST keep them if we're short on space.

They do and I think they're fun!  I just thought we needed a change up and that's why I brought it up to Donna today!  Glad she posted it! There's some really cute ones out there!

I was thinking more in terms of which smileys would be replaced with new ones. In other words, which old "happy birthday" gets replaced with the new one.

I thought the idea was to add new smileys to REPLACE some of the old ones that hardly ever get used. Did any of the non-popular ones ever get deleted? I do remember a few people, including myself, writing in with suggestions for ones to eliminate.
