The ones we wait for especially are the Blackcap and the Long-tailed Tit. The latter looks like a tiny Christmas-tree ornament. They travel in talkative little flocks and are a delight to watch. The Blackcaps love apples...

(Don't know the scientific name for either, tho I can look)... so you were right there in the very ball park. Sounds almost identical...
