19 postcards created by Lou for only $9.99 plus shipping and handling.

This is a set of 4"x 6" postcard-sized composite prints of the Rochester Falcons, including Mariah, Kaver, and all offspring from 2005 to 2008.  Designed by local falcon watcher, Lou Capuano, these postcards include a picture of each of the seventeen juvenile peregrine falcons after they had fledged from the nest box atop the Kodak Office building and were flying free in the surrounding area.  Each postcard includes the falcon's name using the text color of the band that the falcons were given when they were eyases and a quote or poem that relates to their name.  Lou later developed Mariah and Kaver postcards which are also included in this set!

Is payment only through Paypal?

Can these be purchased directly from rfalconcam with a personal check? I know KathyO has collected payment for things from the local watchers downtown before.  :happy:

eBay only accepts Paypal. There may be a way to buy a set directly from Rfalconcam, but I don't have that information.

Yeah, I kinda figured that. My Paypal acct was hacked, I won't use it again. If there's another way....I'm in!

I think you would get more takers here than on Ebay. Lou's postcards are da "bomb".

Two already purchased over on the Ebay site!  I've seen the whole set of these postcards and you will not be sorry you purchased them.  Lou did a wonderful job picking out beautiful quotes for each of "our" falcons, to go along with his pictures.

Carol - Please relay to the Merchandising Committee the apprehension of some to be on eBay and use PayPal. 

I have a friend who suggested getting a PayPal account linked to a completely separate savings or checking account, and she only keeps a limited amount of money in that account for PayPal purchases only. She places money in that account only when she is interested in bidding on something of interest.  This way it does not jeopardize any of her other credit account information, and she maintains control of what she purchases.

I may do that, because I've felt left out of not being able to bid on any of the rfalconcam items. I am still apprehensive about how secure is secure with online shopping - - especially when you hear that retail accounts have been hacked into and customer credit cards and personal information are at risk.

After posting that I wanted these but didn't use Paypal, I looked and I own all of the ones that are being offered.  Will Lou, by any chance, be offering new ones like ones of our new Falcon family anytime soon?  (Hint-hint)

If and when ones of the new Falcon family are available as well as the ones offered on Ebay I will most definitely be ordering 2 sets of each..for myself and for a Christmas gift.
I can't think of anything more heartwarming than having these wrapped up as a surprise!  :)

I received mine in the mail. They are magnificent. Lou, your amazing! To MAK, thank you so much for sending them. I love them all and my QTP2T is in there. Sweet!!! I ordered a few sets in the past and gave them all away, leaving me with none, (was well worth it though, as giving is better than receiving)...NOT in this case though... :surprise: ....thanx MAK!!!

I ordered mine Monday!  I can't wait to get them...I am giving one set to my friend in Europe...he loves these falcons too...I wish I could see his face when he opens them at Christmas  :)

I sent that message from our eBay account to several buyers remind them to leave feedback after receiving the cards.

We want to have a good feedback rating to ensure that we remain in good standing with eBay Giving Works and MissionFish in order to keep our non-profit status and continue to receive credits for eBay listing fees.

Received my postcards today - absolutely awesome!  I was actually in tears looking through them.  They brought back so many happy (and sad) memories.  The different scenes and quotes are magnificent!
