Title: Lord G's blog Post by: Bobbie Ireland on 03-Oct-10, 08:52:46 AM Just enjoyed a pleasant half-hour (ok, probably more!) going through Jim and Dawn's trip to Italy. Did not dare go to other links as I would still be there. (As it is time in Ireland for tax submissions.... eeeeeeee-uuuu!)
Anyway - if anyone has not hit it, off you go. We do not need to read other travel writers while he's around. So vivid and fascinating. Thanks for the break! (And why, might I ask politely, are you Lord G? And a March Lord to boot? [I kept reading "Marsh" for some reason.] I am not quibbling or trying to usurp... just sooooo curious!) http://birdblog.marchlords.com/ Title: Re: Lord G's blog Post by: Lord G on 03-Oct-10, 10:47:34 PM Just enjoyed a pleasant half-hour (ok, probably more!) going through Jim and Dawn's trip to Italy. Regarding my screen name, it's not so much that I am Lord G, as that I invented him. He's a character in a novel, a nobleman who lives in the border region (marches) of a fictional kingdom. Title: Re: Lord G's blog Post by: Bobbie Ireland on 04-Oct-10, 03:37:49 AM Thanks, M'Lord. Fun story. And... do you still have those splendid dogs?
Title: Re: Lord G's blog Post by: Lord G on 06-Oct-10, 10:30:32 PM We lost our beautiful Tessa last year to old age, but Quest (http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/NsAkMgTeDKyIn-bH2vFwUw?feat=directlink) has grown to a (more or less) mature five years old. In February we added Sasha (http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/bxnAHKd-bS4HihjHyrmflENRoFvVMEnKorlY2ZWrKAw?feat=directlink) to the pack. She's a five year old Siberian Husky we got from a local rescue. Her previous owner was an over-the-road truck driver who fell on hard times and couldn't keep her. She's sweet and a perfect addition to our family.
Title: Re: Lord G's blog Post by: Bobbie Ireland on 07-Oct-10, 04:32:54 AM Poor old Tessa! We know what that's like... And sometimes... just sometimes... I think I can still see them out of the corner of my eye... We have our Belgian Shepherd because she was a rescue girl too.
