I think they are beautiful but that's my opinion. Granted, they are every where but so are other birds. I can see, removing the eggs, before anything forms but to just cull them, gas them, shoot them, sorry...no way. IDK, it's a hard call with the geese. But gassing the geese is wrong. They did a study on the feathers of the geese that were sucked into those engines. They were migratory geese not of the local population. So this culling isn't helping the problem at all. Its lack of habitat away from the airports that is the problem. Personally I think there are too many planes flying. Maybe we should cull the big silver birds. |
