I wonder if they keep a record of any BANDED falcons they capture and test.  If so, it would be nice if they made those records public so any interested parties could check the band numbers/colors and know the results.  Then we'd know if any of "our" falcons have been located.  Also, if any of the tested falcons do have evidence of oil contamination in their blood, all the "watchers" of those banded falcons could report back to the researchers and let them know if there has been any effect on the bird's ability to reproduce successfully.  If they're going to all this trouble to capture and test hundreds of falcons, they should make use of the thousands of falcon-lovers around the world who are watching and recording every move some of those falcons make!
