Title: Wildlife Center of VA
Post by: valhalla on 27-Aug-09, 07:18:47 AM
I received this yesterday and thought there might be some interest (I participate in the Caring for Critters progam).

Subject: Wildlife Center of Virginia - NBC News Story
Hi Friends –

I wanted to let you know that Wendy Jones, a producer from NBC News, recently came to Waynesboro to do a story about the Wildlife Center of Virginia.  Titled Caring for Critters, the piece is available online at:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032619/vp/32553680#32553680 (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032619/vp/32553680#32553680)

The Center keeps an updated queue of news stories on its website.  I encourage you to check in periodically to see what’s new at the Center, at http://www.wildlifecenter.org/wp/news/ (http://www.wildlifecenter.org/wp/news/)

Thanks for your special support of the Wildlife Center!

Thanks -- I enjoyed learning about them.  It's good to know that wildlife rehabilitation can have such a positive effect upon both the community and the environment.

Very nice.  I stayed with a wildlife rehabilitator when I was in Richmond watching the peregrines.  She had three baby finches and I got to help a little with their care.

This ia an easy drive/visit for you.  Spike and Pignoli are my two sponsered critters (well, I pay and two kids are the receipients of the "stuff").  :)
