This duck had a lucky escape when he was pounced on by a hungry peregrine falcon. The mallard had strayed from his pond when the female bird of prey struck, soaring in at an incredible 100 miles per hour. A dramatic chase followed and the duck tried his best to evade the vicious predator hot on his heels.
