Same here, Patti! It's been crystal-clear for days, but now, our snow has returned and the skies are dark! Boo-hoo!

Ok once again cant figure out how to show a photo for some reason.

I believe that totality was 3:17 AM in the DC area - I caught my first glimsp at 3:22 AM and watched the moon grow all the way into Arlington.

Good! I'm glad it's that rare. It's too falcon cold to watch a lunar eclipse on the Winter Solstice!
