I see they still have the netting up around the playpen to block the old nest site on Kodak. Sigh! And my take on the interactions between Beauty & her friend...he's behaving more like a juvie than an adult. And she's behaving more like a mother than a mate. He's happy enough to grab a free meal and a few lessons in urban peregrine life. She won't chase him away just yet, just in case. I have to wonder if we have a nesting pair -- or if this is our nesting pair that just becomes more visible in winter I remember that Jeanne. Carol also posed the same question, and I am wondering about that possibility too. Or, stretching it a bit...do we have an unbanded pair that has come south from a northern city like Montreal? Hmmmm...any pairs up in Canada that fit our despcription? Not very far from the Times Square Bldg. I usually drive by that building when I look for the downtown Pefas. I think the year Terry's husband saw one of them eating at the loading dock, he was pretty sure it was a juvenile. That was a few years back.
