Title: "Waiter! There's a gecko in my broccoli!" Post by: Bobbie Ireland on 19-Jan-11, 08:36:53 AM ...And I call him "Gordon".
Get outa here! Broccoli purchased in the UK was found to have a live gecko living inside it. Margaret Perthen, 62, screamed when she discovered the lizard inside the vegetable, purchased from supermarket Tesco, but quickly became attached to it because it had lost its tail. She said: "I don't know who was the most [ie more] frightened - me or the gecko. I felt sorry for him, especially as he had lost his tail. I called it Gordon." Margaret contacted a local vet in Gloucestershire who deals with exotic animals to help her deal with the creature. Title: Re: "Waiter! There's a gecko in my broccoli!" Title: Re: "Waiter! There's a gecko in my broccoli!" Post by: Mirta on 19-Jan-11, 01:46:36 PM Well. It is better to buy broccoli with living gecko than buying broccoli full of pesticides that kill the insects that geckos can eat...
IMHO :) Hugs Mirta Title: Re: "Waiter! There's a gecko in my broccoli!" Post by: MAK on 19-Jan-11, 03:13:38 PM  :2thumbsup:
