Not sure how (or IF) it works in Ireland, but I understand Apple has a program whereby you can turn in your old Mac, and whatever it's worth as salvage, they will give you a credit toward a new one, and give the old one a decent burial at least. My Cube is ten years old now, and at some point I may have to consider a successor, sigh... We have 2 working 24/7 to provide streaming video from the Times Square building. If you know of anyone replacing a 2006 or newer Mac that's still in good condition, let me know.
