Title: Happy Groundhog Day!
Post by: Bobbie Ireland on 02-Feb-11, 03:55:38 AM
Happy Groundhog Day, y'all!

If Phil were here, he would not be seeing his shadow. And from the look of the ROC weather, he would not be seeing it there either... Stay toasty!

Slainte!

Bobbie
(cannot wait to see Donna's Smiley for this one...)

Well, he won't see it here either as his door is probably sealed shut from all the ICE!  (http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww173/prestonjjrtr/Holidays/GroundhogDayShadowWinter.gif) (http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww173/prestonjjrtr/Smileys%20Holidays/8_4_138.gif)

I knew you would not let me down, Donna! Love the Smiley!

(And boy, are you ever up early!)

Stay toasty over there, everyone - AND safe! You Falcon Watchers esp!!

BTW... what does it take for the "authorities" to say: Stay off the roads. I know many of you will try to get to work today, no matter what. So who can say "No" to any travel?

The roads aren't too bad in Rochester this morning. I didn't have any problem getting into work. It wasn't even snowing.

Everything here is a sheet of ice but I made it to my brother-in-laws  to babysit. We got 20% of what they predicted for this area. Pfft, what do they know!!

In case you missed it, Punxsutawney Phil predicts an early spring.
