Title: A trip to Wild Wings Post by: MAK on 20-Feb-11, 10:21:06 PM KathyO asked me to join her and CarolP on a ride out to Wild Wings. I jumped at the oppurtunity for every time I've gone to Mendon Ponds Park Wild Wings was closed. Here's a link to a few pics I took there: http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/sharing/shareRedirectSwitchBoard.jsp?token=434440771213%3A1769633849&sourceId=533754321803&cm_mmc=eMail-_-Share-_-Photos-_-Sharee (http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/sharing/shareRedirectSwitchBoard.jsp?token=434440771213%3A1769633849&sourceId=533754321803&cm_mmc=eMail-_-Share-_-Photos-_-Sharee)

Nice memorial (?) brick! No Chris, we saw all their occupants. They don't normally let people take pictures but Terry gave us permission. I limited myself to just the falcon pics. The bricks are in memory of Joyce's mom from Donna, Janet and I. ;D Title: Re: A trip to Wild Wings Post by: rssport on 20-Feb-11, 11:26:49 PM Nice pics Mak.

Thanks, Donna - I will go to the park and buy one. Dad would love it. And... did I thank you for that link to the (longish) birds in the garden video? Dad will really enjoy it, so thanks so much! You can also purchase a sponsorship through their Adopt-a-Bird program for any wildlife there. We bought one as a Christmas gift this year. The recipient gets notification of the gift, a picture of the sponsored bird with its biography, an adoption certificate and a years subscription to their quarterly news. A great gift also! Didn't know we couldn't take pics and no one told us different. Nice about the brick for Joyce's mom. All great ideas, everyone. Thank you! Dad can't get out with me any more on our birding hikes, but he loves to know what's up. Title: Re: A trip to Wild Wings Post by: MAK on 22-Feb-11, 09:27:19 AM Speaking of Wild Wings... they depend completely on donations so if any of you can participate in their events it would be a good thing! They do a fine job there!
The only way I could get these handouts on here is by taking a picture with my camera, download them to Kodak Gallery and get a link. :stupid: Here is the link to upcoming events sponsored by Wild Wings: http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/sharing/shareRedirectSwitchBoard.jsp?token=626371871213%3A1609359112&sourceId=533754321803&cm_mmc=eMail-_-Share-_-Photos-_-Sharee (http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/sharing/shareRedirectSwitchBoard.jsp?token=626371871213%3A1609359112&sourceId=533754321803&cm_mmc=eMail-_-Share-_-Photos-_-Sharee) |
