I was out years ago on an island off Kerry - Puffin Island - and the "Stormies" came rocketing in after dark - what an experience! I even got to ring/band some... under supervision, of course!! Also had the privilege of meeting Manx Shearwaters - they make this ghostly cry as they are coming in. Ahhh, to be young again! I hated the heights, so I cooked.
